TP Darko Slavko Dimitrov, Dimitar Blagoev 9b, 1000 Skopje, North Macedonia, is responsible for the personal data processed for 21Music software licensing, its website and product support. Contact [email protected] for privacy requests. Freemius separately processes purchase and customer-portal information under its own privacy notice.
Activation: the plugin sends a license key, product and major-version information, a product-scoped device hash and a random operation identifier to our HTTPS licensing service. The device hash is derived locally from Windows MachineGuid or the macOS platform UUID; the raw identifier is not sent. A device hash can be personal data and is not claimed to be anonymous. We use this information to validate your entitlement, manage the two-computer limit, issue signed activation certificates and process deactivation or recovery.
The licensing service stores license entitlements, a keyed license-key hash, device and activation records, signed certificates, management receipts, operation results and security audit records. Provider activation credentials are encrypted in server storage. Encrypted retry information may be retained to complete an interrupted operation safely.
Security and delivery: hosting infrastructure processes ordinary network information, including IP addresses, request times and requested resources, to deliver pages, downloads and licensing responses and protect against abuse. The application rate-limit table uses keyed hashes and time buckets. This does not mean that infrastructure providers never process an IP address.
Purchases: Freemius collects the identity, contact, billing and payment information needed for its checkout and customer portal. As the product publisher we can access customer and order details, licensing information and payment/refund status needed to deliver the product, resolve orders and provide support. We do not receive full payment-card numbers through the plugin.
Support: we process the email address, correspondence, order references and diagnostic information you choose to send. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, unrelated personal files or confidential audio. We do not require audio or project uploads to activate.
The plugin does not upload audio, projects, raw device identifiers or DAW account credentials for licensing. After a valid activation it does not perform periodic license polling or usage telemetry. A user-initiated activation or deactivation contacts the licensing service. The website does not include our own advertising trackers, analytics or mailing-list collection. External checkout and customer-portal pages have their own policies and cookies. Clicking an email link opens your email application; it does not silently send a message.
We do not sell personal information or use plugin licensing information for targeted advertising. We do not collect a separate 21Music customer account merely to activate. We do not use activation data to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects through profiling.
We process information necessary to provide the purchased license, deliver downloads and respond to product requests as part of performing the contract or taking requested steps before a contract. Preventing license abuse, securing services, keeping operation records and resolving disputes serve our legitimate interests, subject to applicable rights and safeguards. Records required by applicable law are processed to meet those obligations. We will ask for consent if a separate optional activity requires it; declining such an activity does not by itself prevent licensed offline use.
Freemius provides checkout, customer emails, the customer portal and licensing-provider services. Cloudflare hosts the website, downloads and HTTPS licensing infrastructure. Our support mailbox uses Google's email service. These providers receive the information necessary for those services; we may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not disclose your license key to another customer.
The Publisher is based in North Macedonia. Provider systems and support operations may process information in other countries. Applicable international-transfer requirements and provider contractual safeguards must be observed; contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your request. Provider notices explain their own processing and transfer practices: https://freemius.com/privacy/ ; https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ ; https://policies.google.com/privacy . These notices do not replace our responsibility for our processing.
Windows stores the local activation certificate and management receipt encrypted for the current Windows profile using DPAPI. macOS stores activation data in the user's login Keychain. Activation certificates are signed and device-bound. HTTPS protects online licensing exchanges. Access to issuer secrets and administrative functions is restricted. No security measure is a guarantee against every incident.
We retain entitlement and device records while necessary to maintain the perpetual license, provide device recovery and resolve related disputes. Deactivation marks a device inactive; it is not a request to erase the entire license or purchase record. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the request and related follow-up or legal claims. Legal, billing and dispute records are retained where required by applicable obligations. Retention depends on the record's purpose, the continuing license relationship and any applicable legal requirement, rather than a single period for all records.
Rate-limit buckets are short-term operational records and older buckets are pruned during subsequent requests. This is not a promise that all infrastructure logs or backups expire on the same schedule. Provider retention is also governed by their services and policies. Contact us for a review of a specific record's continuing necessity. Data that must be retained for a legal reason will be restricted to that purpose where applicable.
A permanent offline certificate may remain in a backup or copy you control and cannot reliably be remotely erased by us. Remove your own activation copies when no longer entitled to use them. Deleting a user profile or changing a device can require reactivation or support-assisted recovery.
Subject to the applicable law and its exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email [email protected]; we may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns your records. Some information is needed to provide activation or recover a device; erasing it may prevent those services. We explain any legal reason for retaining information rather than treating every deletion request as automatically accepted.
You may complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of North Macedonia, https://azlp.mk/en/ , or another competent supervisory authority where applicable. Contacting us first does not remove your right to complain.
Material changes will be reflected in a dated policy on the website and in the applicable distribution. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. This policy describes the product and services listed here; an external website's processing is governed by its own notice.
